When we launched our campaign for Wisconsin’s 23rd Assembly district at the end of November, we knew that taking on a Republican incumbent in a gerrymandered district would be a huge challenge. We would need a big head start to build enough momentum to replace Jim Ott, but we didn’t know if anyone else would be thinking about an election that’s almost a year away.
Fortunately, we were wrong.
We were blown away by the number of people who donated or signed up to volunteer on our website, exceeding all expectations! With this kind of support we can reach more voters, knock on more doors, and do what it takes to elect a leader who will fight for a safer, smarter, healthier Wisconsin.
As your representative I will vote to increase funding for our public schools, protect the air we breathe and the water we drink, and demand safer gun laws to protect our communities. So that all Wisconsin families can afford quality health care, I will support measures to bring down the price of prescription drugs and accept federal dollars to expand Medicaid.
So thank you to everyone who donated or signed up on our web site. We are off to a very strong start!
